Colombian anti-drug units can be heard on voice, ALE and with high-speed
modems.  Voice activity is often led by a (usually) female operator who
roll-calls stations by number and provides each with what appears to be
a coded message.  Current sked seems to be at 1400UTC on Saturdays.

Many operations are supported and/or sponsored by the US.  The 7th
Special Forces and State Department units have provided training,
aircraft and a radar station based at Tres Equinas. 

Many of the locations are shared by a second ALE network but tend to be
more widely spread than just the Putamayo region.  The ALE identifiers
also share many similarities with another network rumoured to be
Peruvian.
